Comfrey Homestead Salve
Comfrey Homestead Salve
After I got a second degree burn one spring, I knew I never wanted to be without comfrey again! So we added three thriving plants to our homestead gardens and now we’re sharing the abundance with you. Comfrey, also called knitbone or boneset, is known to heal sprains and broken bones. Comfrey also aids in skin cell regeneration, doubling the rate of skin cell growth.
This salve is great for arthritis or muscle pain, joint issues, burns, varicose veins, cuts, bruises, wounds eczema, old and new scars, and other skin issues. Our formula allows for soft application without pressure which is great for any wounds or sensitive skin.
Do not use comfrey salve on infected wounds. Comfrey is known to heal wounds so fast that it could heal over the infection. Instead, treat any existing infection before using comfrey salve on the wound.
